Pregnancy Update: Welcome to the Third Trimester (28 Weeks!)
I am officially in my third trimester! I’ve finally reached another huge pregnancy milestone—28 weeks pregnant. I’ve officially ordered my breast pump through my insurance, and things are really starting to feel real now.
Marquise should be arriving in Atlanta soon, and I cannot wait to see him. He’s going to be shocked at how much I’ve grown since the last time we saw each other at the end of November.

C-Section Date
I have officially scheduled my C-section date. We’ll be sharing that information in a video on GoodwinSZN, so make sure to check it out if you haven’t already.
We are super excited. I was actually able to choose my C-section date based on my doctor’s availability and my gestation. Both my OB and MFM recommended delivery between 36 and 37 weeks due to my pregnancy history.
Wow… I truly cannot believe I’m in the final stretch of my pregnancy.
With my past experiences, I didn’t know if I’d ever make it to the third trimester—let alone past the halfway mark. And here I am, growing our beautiful baby boy or girl. I’m praying for comfort, peace, and a smooth, uneventful third trimester.
Baby Shower & Registry
We are registered at Buy Buy Baby and Target. However, we are asking for gift cards only.
Please, please, please—NO BABY GIFTS.
I cannot stress this enough. We are currently in between homes. We’re not settled in Dallas, we’re not settled in San Jose, and we’ll be moving out of our San Jose apartment on December 19th. Hubby and I will be staying with my mom until the baby is born.
We’re also still deciding what our next housing move will be—renting, buying a rental property under our LLC, or doing an Airbnb. There are so many options, and it’ll be easier to decide once hubby gets to Atlanta and can see everything in person.
Because of all this uncertainty, we are not trying to ship large baby items across multiple states. We plan to purchase baby items as needed.
On top of that, we’ve been blessed to have several companies send us major baby essentials for free, including Boppy, Owlet, Haakaa, Comotomo, Ergobaby, Elvie, SwaddleMe, and more. We truly don’t want anyone spending money on items we may already have.
Gift cards will be used for:
Diapers and wipes (of our choosing)
Clothes after birth, once we know our baby’s sex
