Taking the Crown Beyond the Stage: I’m Speaking at Sip, Savor, & Crown 2026! 👑

I’m so excited to share another speaking engagement that is especially meaningful to me!

I’ll be joining Royalty Houston Foundation for Sip, Savor, & Crown: Tulum Nights 2026 as a speaker, and this one feels like such a beautiful full circle moment.

When I stepped onto the pageant stage and was crowned Classic Universe Contemporary Woman 2026–2027, I knew I wanted my crown to represent more than a title.

I wanted it to represent purpose, service, resilience, faith, and impact.

And now, I get another opportunity to do exactly that.

More Than a Crown

Pageantry has given me another platform to share the parts of my story that happened long before I ever wore a crown.

I’m a wife. A mother. An author. An advocate. A former athlete. A woman who has experienced tremendous loss and tremendous restoration. I’m also the founder of The Goodwin Family Project, where we have turned some of the most painful experiences of our lives into an opportunity to serve other families.

Every part of my journey has shaped the woman who now gets to wear this crown.

That is why speaking at Sip, Savor, & Crown means so much to me.

This event brings together women within the pageant community for connection, empowerment, networking, and giving back. I love being in spaces where women can celebrate one another while also having meaningful conversations about purpose and the impact we can make beyond ourselves.

Using My Story for a Greater Purpose

If you’ve followed my journey for a while, you know that my path has not always looked the way I imagined it would.

I’ve experienced pregnancy loss.

I’ve walked through infertility and fertility treatments.

I’ve experienced the uncertainty of wondering whether motherhood would ever look the way I prayed it would.

I’ve become a mother.

I’ve written a book.

I’ve started a nonprofit.

I’ve returned to the pageant stage.

And through every chapter, I’ve continued learning that sometimes the experiences we would have never chosen for ourselves become the very experiences God uses to help us reach someone else.

That message is at the heart of my book, Incompetent but Hopeful: Finding God’s Purpose Through Loss and Holding onto Hope.

It is also at the heart of the work I do today.

What Does Your Crown Represent?

One of the things I appreciate most about the pageant community is seeing women use their platforms for causes that genuinely matter to them.

A crown may get someone’s attention, but what you do while wearing it is what creates an impact.

For me, being Classic Universe Contemporary Woman 2026–2027 is another opportunity to advocate for women and families, speak openly about pregnancy and infant loss, encourage women navigating difficult seasons, and continue expanding the work of The Goodwin Family Project.

I want women to know that their stories have value.

The hard chapters have value.

The victories have value.

The moments nobody saw have value.

And sometimes sharing those experiences is exactly what allows another woman to realize she isn’t alone.

I’ll See You at Sip, Savor, & Crown!

I’m incredibly grateful to Royalty Houston Foundation for inviting me to be part of Sip, Savor, & Crown: Tulum Nights 2026.

I’m looking forward to an evening surrounded by incredible women, fellow queens, leaders, advocates, and changemakers.

But most of all, I’m looking forward to the conversations.

Because beyond the dresses, titles, photos, and crowns are women with real stories, real experiences, real dreams, and real opportunities to make a difference.

I’m excited to share a little more of mine.

Here’s to wearing the crown, doing the work, and remembering that our greatest impact will always extend far beyond the stage. 👑

“Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16 ESV

See you at Sip, Savor, & Crown: Tulum Nights 2026!
