Pregnancy Update: 25 Weeks + 3 Days

You guys, I am so excited to hit yet another milestone in my pregnancy. I just turned 25 weeks and 3 days today. I feel amazing and cannot wait to reach the next milestone next week.

Surprise Baby Sprinkle

I am beyond grateful for the wives and girlfriends of the 49ers. They have been incredibly supportive throughout my pregnancies and have shown me so much love. Before I leave this upcoming weekend, they surprised me with a baby sprinkle on Saturday.

For those who don’t know, a baby sprinkle is basically a smaller, more intimate version of a baby shower. My surprise sprinkle was hosted at a brunch spot in San Jose called The Breakfast Club (Midtown).

It was super simple and so much fun. I had no idea they were throwing me a baby sprinkle. I’ve never had a baby shower or a baby sprinkle before, so it felt really special to have something thrown for me—especially secretly. Come to find out, my hubby knew about it the whole time. I had my suspicions that they might be planning something, but I wasn’t sure.

Glucose Test & 3D/4D Ultrasound

More good news: I passed my glucose test! My sugar level was around 123, I believe. Thank God—because I truly could not imagine having to poke my finger after every meal throughout the day.

This upcoming Saturday, I’ll be leaving San Jose for Atlanta to spend the remainder of my pregnancy there. I’m really sad to be leaving my hubby, but I know it’s important not to fly too late into pregnancy. You can click HERE to read more about why I’ll be in Atlanta for the duration of my pregnancy.

We also had our first 3D/4D ultrasound at 25 weeks—and wow. Our baby looks exactly like my hubby. I cannot wait to see our baby once he or she is born. The baby definitely has his nose, but we still can’t quite tell whose lips the baby has.

For those wondering, a 4D ultrasound is basically a 3D ultrasound in live motion. We were able to watch our baby yawn, play with his or her hands and feet, open his or her eyes, and move around. It was honestly one of the coolest experiences ever. I can’t wait to do another 3D/4D ultrasound later in my pregnancy.

Be sure to stay tuned for our 3D/4D ultrasound vlog, which will be posted on our YouTube channel, GoodwinSZN.

Now that I’ve reached this point, I finally feel comfortable enough to:

  • Start preparing for my actual baby shower (that’ll be a whole other blog post)

  • Start shopping for the baby 🥹

Thank you all so much for keeping up with my pregnancy updates and for the continued prayers and support. It truly means everything.

Happy Holidays,
Mrs. Goodwin
