Traveling to Kenya
Our adventure began as we packed our bags and made the long journey from Texas to Nairobi. Join us as we travel across the world with our three children and begin the trip of a lifetime.
Our First Look at Nairobi
After landing in Kenya, we checked into our hotel and shared our first impressions of this beautiful country. From the excitement of arriving to preparing for safari, this was the perfect start to our adventure.
Flying by Private Charter to Amboseli
One of the most exciting moments of the trip was boarding a private charter flight to Amboseli National Park. The views from above were breathtaking and gave us our first glimpse of Kenya's incredible landscapes.
Arriving at Our Luxury Safari Camp
We toured our beautiful accommodations and settled into our new home surrounded by nature. Waking up to wildlife and the peaceful sounds of Africa was an experience we'll never forget.
Our First Safari Game Drive
Nothing could have prepared us for seeing wild elephants, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, and so many other incredible animals in their natural habitat. Every turn brought another unforgettable moment.
Baby Elephants and Wildlife Encounters
Watching elephant families interact with one another quickly became one of our favorite parts of the trip. Seeing playful calves stay close to their mothers reminded us just how intelligent and family oriented these magnificent animals truly are.
Morning Safari with Rangers
We headed out before sunrise for another incredible game drive with experienced guides who shared their knowledge about the animals, conservation, and the unique ecosystem of Amboseli National Park.
Visiting a Maasai Village
One of the most meaningful experiences of our trip was spending time with the Maasai community. We learned about their traditions, toured their village, visited their homes, watched traditional dances, and gained a deeper appreciation for their culture and way of life.

The journey is far from over. We still have so many unforgettable moments to share, including even more wildlife encounters, incredible scenery, meaningful cultural experiences, and the memories we made as a family throughout Kenya, South Africa, and Mauritius.
