A Beautiful Beginning: My First Sip & Sign Was a Success
Incompetent but Hopeful
On May 9th, I hosted my very first Sip & Sign for my book, Incompetent but Hopeful: Finding God’s Purpose Through Loss and Holding onto Hope, at Kai-Simone Winery in beautiful Spring Branch, Texas, and my heart is still so full. I want to sincerely thank every single person who showed up, supported me, purchased a book, shared encouraging words, hugged me, prayed over me, and simply took the time to be there. Your support means more than you will ever know.
This book is incredibly personal and deeply connected to my heart. Writing Incompetent but Hopeful required me to revisit some of the most painful and vulnerable moments of my life, from infertility struggles to pregnancy loss, to navigating the emotional journey of living with an incompetent cervix. But through every chapter, my goal has always been bigger than my pain. My prayer is that this story brings awareness, healing, hope, and encouragement to women and families who may feel unseen or alone in their journey.
Seeing so many people come together in love and support reminded me exactly why I decided to share my testimony in the first place. There is power in transparency. There is healing in community. And there is purpose even in the hardest seasons of life.
The atmosphere at the winery was beautiful, filled with conversation, connection, laughter, tears, encouragement, and hope. From signing books to sharing pieces of my story aloud, this event was truly unforgettable. I am beyond grateful to Kai-Simone Winery for hosting such a meaningful event and helping create such a warm and welcoming experience for everyone who attended. This is only the beginning.
I will absolutely be having more book signings, speaking engagements, and events in the future, so please stay tuned for my upcoming book signing tour announcements. We have so much in store, and I cannot wait to continue this journey with all of you. Thank you again for believing in me, supporting my book, supporting my mission, and helping spread awareness surrounding infertility, pregnancy loss, and incompetent cervix. Your love and encouragement continue to push me forward.
With love and gratitude,
Morgan Goodwin
