34 Weeks: Super Bowl LIV Experience In Miami

Experiencing Loss / Monday, February 3rd, 2020

For starters, happy 34 weeks to me. This was my next major milestone! I honestly can’t even believe that we will be meeting our baby soon. Better yet, I cant believe we made it to the Super Bowl! Plus I got to travel to Miami this weekend to go.

Super Bowl In Miami

What was the Super Bowl like? Honestly, it was like a regular football game. I’d rather watch it at home with family. In addition, I don’t really know if I feel this way because hubby wasn’t playing in the game. However, the halftime show was super grand unlike any regular season football game.

We got to see so many celebrities at the game as well. The game also felt like it was super long because of all of the commercial breaks. The festivities during the Super Bowl week/weekend is the best part about the Super Bowl. I loved that the Super Bowl was in Miami. It was so beautiful there and the weather is always great.

We had so much fun in Miami. I am so glad I was able to experience the Super Bowl. Even though I didn’t get to have too much fun (being pregnant and all), our baby was able to tag along with me in Miami and enjoy the Super Bowl too. We got to go to so many different restaurants and try new places and new foods. I was also happy to see the other wives, fiancé’s, gfs of the players because I haven’t seen them since November.

My mother-in-law joined us in Miami during Super Bowl weekend. Earlier this year, hubby and I traveled visited South Carolina to visit Myrtle Beach Safari Encounters. We got to swim with tigers and play with several animals including cheetahs, chimpanzees, gibbons, an Eagle, etc. Well they live in Miami during the winter because of the nice warm weather. We got a chance to visit them again in Miami. This time my mother-in-law was able to experience swimming with tigers and playing with the apes in Miami. New Symptoms

Some days my tummy feels uncomfortable now. It mostly starts in the evening and then when I wake up the feeling goes away. I am starting to notice an increase in Braxton hicks and I finally experienced some swelling. While in Miami, I wore some bangles/bracelets to dinner. Well later that night when I tried to take them off it wouldn’t come off easily. My hands swell up on me lol. I was shooketh (surprised) and it hurt to take them off.

Thank you all for your continued support and prayers. We really appreciate you all. I am so thankful for my husband. He’s been helping me tremendously. He helps me lotion my legs, wash my legs and feet, put on my shoes, and rubs my feet. These tasks are very difficult for me with this big belly in the way. I could do it myself, as I do sometimes, but I get out of breath so quickly. On the plus side, I only have to take two more Mckena injections in my bum, my last shot will be taken when I turn 36 weeks.

With love,

Mrs. Goodwin
