Upcoming Plans: 22 Weeks

Experiencing Loss / Sunday, November 10th, 2019

Honestly, I cannot be more grateful than what I am today. I cannot believe I am 22 weeks pregnant. I’m in my 6th month of pregnancy now. That feels really good to say. I’ve never gotten passed my 5th month.

All-White November

November is a big month for my husband and I. For one, it’s hubby’s birthday month. Hs birthday is November 19th. It’s also the month of our three son’s birthdays. Our first son’s birthday is approaching next week on November 12th. And our twins’ birthday is November 25th. We also have several other birthdays approaching this month including my sister’s birthday, my grandmother’s birthday, and my hubby’s grandmother.

All-White November

In celebration of our son’s birthdays we wear all-white clothing the whole month of November. My husband started this tradition after losing our first son in 2017. I recently just joined the movement this year. Its really hard for me to keep white clean. Not to mention, I now have a large belly that catches everything that drops from my mouth. So if you see me with stains on my shirt, please forgive me lol.

Where am I Delivering?

Since I will be giving birth in Atlanta, I will be traveling to Atlanta at the end of this month to spend the rest of the season. Why Atlanta? Well that’s where I was born and raised. My immediate family is there and I definitely want my mom and sister to be there for me when I deliver.

Football season plays a major role in my anxiety. I will feel safer being near family in case pre-term labor tries to sneak up on me while hubby is at an away game. Being across the country away from my hubby is going to feel awful. This requires major sacrifices in order to make sure our baby is safe and taken good care of.

Some of the tasks that I will need to take on this month include scheduling car shipment, hiring movers for our December move, scheduling flights, and visiting my upcoming prenatal appointments. Oh wait, I’ll also be getting my braces off this month.

Pregnancy Update: 22 Weeks

In all, pregnancy has been going great. No new symptoms as of now. The baby is doing great as well. My Cigna nurse was shocked that I had only gained 7lbs so far this pregnancy. She said that most women have already gained around 14lbs by 22 weeks. Yikes! We will be checking on the baby and my cervix next week November 12th. Keep those prayers coming. We really appreciate you all for the support and constant prayers. And thank you to my avid, faithful readers.

With Love,

Mrs. Goodwin
