My Hubby Bought Me A Range Rover on His Birthday
My husband is the most thoughtful man I know. He bought me a Range Rover on his birthday! I had no clue he was getting me a car. I also can’t believe he did it all by himself without my help.
Our son was born 6 days before my hubby’s birthday. Such a tragedy for the both of us. We were already planning on getting an SUV before our son was born in April. However, we didn’t make it to full term. So my hubby took it upon himself to buy me the SUV anyway.
I debated for a while about which kind of SUV we should get. We mostly focused on two types of vehicles: Range Rovers and G-Wagons. I test drove both vehicles and decided I wanted a Range Rover instead of a G-Wagon. I mean, G-Wagons are really nice and flashy but I wanted something more durable. The G-Wagons reminded me of Jeeps while driving. Every time you hit a bump or dip on the road you would feel it.
I can’t enjoy myself in a car that bounces too much because I get car sick sometimes. Sometimes I get car sick when someone is weaving too much. I also get car sick if it’s too hot in the car and if I am hungry. The point is, the G-Wagon could potentially make me car sick.
I believe the Range Rover was the better pick because on a technical level, its more advanced. The G-Wagon is pretty basic inside. On the other hand, the Range Rover has seat warmers and seat massagers. There is a mini refrigerator in my car that allows you to place one or two drinks inside. How cool is that? I think this feature won me over the most. There’s so much you can do with a Range Rover that you can’t do with a G-Wagon. I can lift my car up or drop it lower to the ground. And I have a large sunroof.
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him” (Colossians 3:17).
I am so thankful for my hubby; he’s the best! I still can’t believe he did that for me. Funny thing is, I knew he was up to something. Because he kept disappearing and wouldn’t tell me where he was going. He would always change the subject. I didn’t really pay him no mind because I knew he was trying to do something special. Never in a million years did I think he was buying me a car on his birthday. Thanks again baby. I love you!
